KTM now retails the ABS-equipped version of the 200 Duke in India at Rs 1.6 lakhs (ex-showroom). At a similar price point there are a few ABS and non-ABS bikes that you can opt for. We list them out for you-
Let's begin with ABS equipped motorcycles. There is the Bajaj Dominar 400 positioned as a touring motorcycle. It gets a dual-channel ABS as an option that is priced at Rs 1.63 lakhs while the standard variant costs Rs 1.49 lakhs. It is powered by a 373cc single-cylinder engine that puts out 34.5bhp and 35N of torque.
You can also opt for the retro-looking Jawa and its slightly modern iteration, the Jawa Forty Two which get a single-channel ABS unit. The Jawa retails at Rs 1.64 lakhs and the Jawa Forty Two is priced at Rs 1.55 lakhs. They are powered by a 293cc, single-cylinder engine that puts out 27bhp and 28Nm of torque.
Another name associated with modern-classics is Royal Enfield which offers three motorcycles a dual-channel ABS unit. You can have the Classic 350 Gunmetal Grey and Classic Signals priced at Rs 1.54 lakhs and 1.61 lakhs respectively. While there is only one variant on the Classic Signals, the Gunmetal Grey version is also offered in a standard variant that gets a rear disc brake and costs Rs 1.48 lakhs. Both bikes are powered by a 346cc, single-cylinder motor that produces 19.8bhp and 28Nm of torque.
The manufacturer also offers an adventure-tourer in the form of the Royal Enfield Himalayan. The ABS version of the Himalayan costs Rs 1.78 lakhs while the standard bike costs Rs 1.67 lakhs. It uses a 411cc, single-cylinder motor that produces 24.5bhp and 32Nm of torque. Now there are seven other bikes in this list that do not get ABS as yet; although we expect them to come equipped with the safety feature by April 2019. However, all the following options do come with a rear disc brake as standard.
You can have the KTM 200 Duke's siblings, the fully-faired KTM RC200 and the 250 Duke streetfighter at Rs 1.77 lakhs and Rs 1.79 lakhs respectively. The RC 200 is powered by a 199cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 25bhp and 19.2Nm of torque. On the other hand the 250 Duke uses a 248cc, single-cylinder motor that produces 29.6bhp and 24Nm of torque. In fact, you could also have the standard KTM 200 Duke which retails at Rs 1.51 lakhs.
There also is the UM Renegade Sport S that gets a blacked-out cruiser styling. It is powered by a 279cc, single-cylinder motor that produces 24.8bhp and 23Nm of torque. The bike is priced at Rs 1.68 lakhs. You could also have Mahindra’s touring bike, the Mojo UT300 with a price tag of Rs 1.53 lakhs. It uses a 294cc, single-cylinder engine that is good for 22.5bhp and 25.2Nm of torque.

On the other hand, the Thunderbird 350X is based on the standard bike but gets blacked-out components for a custom-bike look. The Thunderbird and 350X retail at Rs 1.49 and Rs 1.56 lakhs each. Both bikes are powered by a 346cc, single-cylinder motor that produces 19.8bhp and 28Nm of torque.
