- KTM 250 Adventure gets slightly dearer
- Now costs Rs 2,54,995 (ex-showroom, Delhi)
KTM has recently revised the prices of all bikes in its India line-up. While some products like the KTM 390 Adventure received a hike of over Rs 11,000, the 250 Adventure got dearer by a mere sum of Rs 512. The latest ex-showroom (Delhi) price of the motorcycle stands at Rs 2,54,995. It’s worth noting that change is limited only to its price and all other aspects of the bike have remained unaltered.
The KTM 250 Adventure’s closest rival in terms of purpose is the Royal Enfield Himalayan that is substantially cheaper than the Austrian machine. The prices of the latter start Rs 1,91,591 and go up to Rs 2,08,657, depending on the colour variant.
The 250 Adventure carries the same styling as its bigger 390 ADV sibling while the cycle parts are also nearly identical. What’s different though is the engine as the former is powered by a 248.8cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 29.5bhp and 24Nm and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. Notably, the same engine is also employed in the 250 Duke, Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 and the Vitpilen 250.
Coming to the features, the 250 Adventure comes equipped with an LCD instrument cluster and full-LED lighting. Moreover, it gets a 14.5-litres fuel tank, dual-channel ABS as standard and weighs 177 kg (kerb). KTM retails the 250 Adventure in a choice of two colour options in India including orange and black.
