- KTM 250 Duke priced at Rs 2.35 lakh
- Offered in a choice of two colours
- Competes against the Suzuki Gixxer 250
KTM India has the 200 Duke and 390 Duke as its popular models. However, the price difference between the two models is substantial. So, to bridge that gap, KTM offers the 250 Duke with a price tag of Rs 2.35 lakh, ex-showroom and a choice of two colour options in India.
To begin with, there is the Dark Galvano colour that mixes the loudness of the iconic Electric Orange with Matte Black. This colour scheme sports orange graphics as well as orange wheels and frame. On the other hand, the Silver Metallic colour option is more subtle.
It adorns a bold ‘250’ graphics on the fuel tank with hints of orange on the headlamp cowl and rear section. Moreover, it also gets orange rim tape on the blacked-out wheels. Although, it does have the same orange frame as the Dark Galvano paint scheme.
Underneath the aggressive bodywork is a 249cc, single-cylinder motor that churns out 29.6bhp and 24Nm and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. That said, the list of features on the KTM 250 Duke is decent too. A full-LED headlamp, USD forks, an LCD instrument cluster, and dual-channel ABS are offered as standard. In terms of competition, the 250 Duke goes up against the Suzuki Gixxer 250 and its siblings the Husqvarna 250 twins.
