KTM India has announced a new offer for its adventure bike range. With a purchase of the 390 Adventure and the 250 Adventure, the customers will get a Givi V32 Bold top box for free.
The company claims that this top box is worth Rs 13,000. However, a few online websites have listed this top box for prices ranging between Rs 6500 and Rs 9000. However, the brand mentioned that their price includes the cost of the rack and installation. This offer is, however, valid till stock lasts.
With this offer, it is clear that KTM is trying to push the sales of the 390 Adventure and the 250 Adventure. Instead of giving a cash discount, it is giving a free top box. Through this route, the company not only saves good money but also manages to keep its brand value intact. Over the years, a lot of motorcycle brands in India have stayed away from giving cash discounts as they believe it will dilute their brand.
The current 390 Adventure has been in the market for almost five years now. This model will be replaced soon with a next-generation model, which is likely to be launched soon in India. However, the new gen 390 Adventure is going to be pricier than the current model.
