- Ride to commence on 27 May, 2023
- Tour open exclusively for KTMAdventure owners
KTM India has announced its first international adventure tour that is scheduled to take place from 27 May to 8 June, 2023. This 13-day ride will take the riders to Upper Mustang in Nepal and is exclusively open to the owners of the KTM 390 Adventure and 250 Adventure. Starting and ending in Gorakhpur, this adventure ride will go through Kathmandu, Pokhara, Lete, Jomsom, Lo Manthang, Nubra Pass, Samar, Muktinath, and Tatopani.
The company said in its press statement that off-road specialists from Nepal will give the participants one-on-one instructions and support. Along with all this, a full-day, high-altitude Adventure Academy at Nupra Pass will be a part of the KTM Adventure tour.
In more updates, KTM India has updated its product portfolio with the launch of new 390 Adventure variants. The new KTM 390 Adventure X is a budget-friendly variant of the sub-500cc adventure-tourer motorcycle range. This variant gets fewer features as compared to the standard model and thus comes at a relatively competitive price tag. Meanwhile, the 390 Adventure V comes with a revised suspension setup to offer a more accessible seat height. The company is also expected to launch the Rally variant of the 390 Adventure in India very soon. However, the launch details of this version are not available yet.
Notably, all variants use the same 373.27cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-valve engine. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, this motor is tuned to deliver a maximum output of 42.9bhp at 9,000rpm and 37Nm of peak torque at 7,000rpm.
