- KTM 390 Adventure launched in India
- Priced at Rs 2.99 lakhs
- Gets bi-directional quickshifter as standard
KTM has launched India’s most awaited motorcycle – the 390 Adventure at Rs 2.99 lakhs (ex-showroom India). This makes the 390 Adventure approximately Rs 52,000 more than the 390 Duke and Rs 50,000 cheaper than the BMW 310GS.
This KTM was first unveiled in India at the 2019 India Bike Week in Goa. In fact, the company has launched the same spec’d motorcycle in India. To start with, the Indian variant of the 390 Adventure gets 43mm USD forks at the front and monoshock with preload and rebound adjustability at the rear. The bike rides on Metzeler Tourance tyres with 100/90-19 tyre at the front and 130/18-17 tyre at the rear. Unfortunately, the 390 Adventure gets alloy wheels for now.
Mechanically, the bike hasn’t changed much from the 390 Duke. The 373cc engine powers this ADV. This motor churns out 43bhp at 9000rpm and peak torque of 37Nm at 7000rpm. This motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox. Interestingly, bi-directional quickshifter comes as standard.
The bookings for the 390 Adventure has commenced at all KTM showroom. The deliveries are expected to begin in a few weeks.
