KTM India radically changed its Adventure motorcycle line in the last few months, especially the 390s. It launched the 390 Adventure X and the 390 Adventure with spoke wheels. Overall, the Austrian brand now has three models on sale of its largest ADV. Let’s take a look at their asking price in the top 10 cities of India.
As we mentioned earlier, the X variant is the most affordable of the three and the spoked wheels version is on the opposite end of the spectrum. Furthermore, the 390 Adventure X and the standard model cost the least in Ahmedabad, and the spoked-wheels model is the most affordable in Chandigarh.
All three trims look the same on the design front but differ in terms of features and hardware. KTM has managed to price the 390 Adventure X low by replacing the TFT with an LCD, eliminating the quickshifter, traction control, and other features. On the other hand, the most expensive model comes with all the ride-aids that the standard model offers and further benefits from adjustable suspension and spoke wheels, thereby making the bike more off-road friendly.
However, the 373cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled powertrain linked to a six-speed gearbox is common between the trio. It dishes out 42.9bhp at 9,000rpm and 37Nm of peak torque at 7,000rpm.
We recently tested the X and the wire-spoked wheels models and here’s published our road test review of the two.
