The booking amount, which is fully-refundable, ranges from Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000 depending on the dealership. As for the pricing of the KTM 390 Adventure, we expect it to cost between Rs 3.2 lakhs to Rs 3.5 lakhs. The motorcycle will be ready for deliveries from January 2020 onwards.
The 390 Adventure is KTM’s smallest adventure touring motorcycle that was unveiled at the 2019 EICMA in Italy. Borrowing inspiration from the 790 Adventure, the motorcycle sports knuckle guards, engine bash plate, large grab rails and wide seats. In terms of styling, it does resembles the streetfighter 390 Duke. But to complete its off-road character, the KTM 390 Adventure is equipped with dual-purpose tyres, adjustable long travel suspension and a traction control system along with the ‘supermoto’ mode.
The KTM 390 Adventure uses a 373cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that produces 42.3bhp and 37Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. Once launched in India, the motorcycle will take on the Royal Enfield Himalayan and the BMW G310 GS.
