- Updated model to ride on tubeless spoked wheels
- Will also benefit from the adjustable front suspension
- Engine, features and design will be retained
We recently spotted the updated KTM 390 Adventure on test in Pune. However, the test mules took off the scene before we could snap any pictures and the images used here are for reference purposes. But our sources have revealed some crucial information about the Austrian ADV's update for India and here’s what we know.
KTM will carry over the design bits from the current model for the next iteration. So, the split LED headlight with the visor, rugged bodywork, and overall purposeful build will be as it is. However, the 390 Adventure will finally feature spoked wheels wrapped around blocked tyres and these will likely be the tubeless units. Moreover, the adjustable front suspension will also make its way to the 390 Adventure in India.
The addition of these two bits should make the KTM 390 Adventure even more versatile since a lot of buyers have been waiting for the said for a long time. That said, the 373cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine is likely to be retained in its current state. So, the updated bike will belt out 42.3 bhp and a torque of 37 Nm. The six-speed gearbox, chassis, braking setup, and rider aids too are expected to remain unchanged.
Currently, the 390 Adventure is priced at Rs 3,37,043 (ex-showroom Delhi). And with the updated hardware, we expect KTM to bump up the price by about Rs 30,000. You can expect an official announcement from KTM in early 2023.
