- Expected to be launched in early 2025
- Likely to be showcased in India at IBW 2024
- Based on the KTM 390 Adventure R
KTM recently showcased the next-generation 390 Adventure range at EICMA 2024 in Milan, Italy. The range includes the KTM 390 Adventure R, 390 Enduro R, and the 390 SMC R. While the latter is being considered for India, we have learned through our sources that KTM will launch the 390 Enduro R alongside the 390 Adventure R in India.
The KTM 390 Enduro R and the Adventure R will be launched in India in early 2025. Although yet to be confirmed, KTM may showcase the bikes at the India Bike Week 2024 in December. The Enduro R could become the weapon of choice for hardcore off-road enthusiasts who don’t wish to go all out and purchase a proper Enduro bike.
The KTM 390 Enduro R is powered by a 399cc, liquid-cooled motor that pumps out 45.3bhp and 39Nm of pean torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox. On the 390 Duke, the engine feels tractable and packs quite a punch. Although it is free-revving, it offers a linear power delivery.
The 390 Enduro R uses the same chassis and cycle parts as the Adventure R. It is underpinned by a steel trellis frame suspended on fully adjustable WP suspension. With a suspension travel of 230mm and a 21/18-inch wheel combination, the Enduro R should be able to tackle hardcore off-road stuff easily.
KTM will likely position the 390 Enduro R between the 390 Duke and the 390 Adventure R. It could be priced at around Rs. 3.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
