-Showcased in India for the first time
-KTM India might consider launching it in 2025
The KTM 390 Enduro R has been showcased at the India Bike Week. The 390 Enduro R is being considered for the Indian market and KTM is gauging customer response at the IBW.
The 390 Enduro R is built for enthusiasts who like riding off-road but don’t want to deal with the heft of an adventure bike. The Enduro R is hence quite compact but packs a punch with its 399cc, liquid-cooled engine. While the specs are not out yet, it should produce 45.3bhp and 39Nm. KTM might change the tune of the engine or the gearing to suit the Enduro characteristics of the bike.
One important bit about the new KTM 390 Enduro R that distinguishes it from its ADV cousin is the seat height, the shape of the seat and the positioning of the handlebar. As for the suspension, the bike has a USD fork and monoshock. It rides on a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear, wire-spoke wheels setup.
In terms of features, the Enduro R isn’t packed to the brim like the 390 Adventure R. It sports a relatively simple LCD console and switchgear housing with a dedicated button to turn off ABS.
The KTM 390 Enduro R might be launched alongside the 390 Adventure in January or KTM may consider it for a mid-2025 launch.
