The KTM 690 Enduro and 690 Supermoto have been spotted testing in Europe. The bikes were earlier discontinued in global markets due to non-compliance with the Euro4 emission norms.
The spy pictures reveal that the Enduro and Supermoto will get a revised body, making the tank slimmer for a better riding position and improved control. The bikes also get a revised seat presumably to make it more comfortable. The KTM Enduro and Supermoto also sport LED lighting for the headlamp and tail lamp units. According to reports, the Enduro also gets an updated WP front fork with 300mm suspension travel over the earlier 250mm travel. On the other hand, the suspension setup on the Supermoto remains the same.
The bikes will share the same 690cc single-cylinder engine as the 2016 690 Duke. This unit produces 73bhp and 70Nm of torque and is mated to a six-speed transmission. The Enduro and Supermoto are also fitted with larger silencers which incorporate the catalytic converter to make them Euro4 compliant. Both bikes continue to get a 12-litre tank located under the seat
KTM is expected to unveil both, the Enduro and Supermoto along with the 790 Duke Adventure and 390 Duke Adventure at the 2018 EICMA. The manufacturer is highly unlikely to get the 690 Enduro or 690 Supermoto to India.
