In December, we had reported about the KTM 790 Adventure R’s pricing that was leaked through a dealer brochure. Now, the Austrian manufacturer has officially revealed the prices for the middle-weight motorcycle in the UK. The 790 Adventure has been priced at £11,099 (Rs 10.33 lakh) while the higher-spec 790 Adventure R is priced at £11,999 (Rs 11.17 lakh).
The 790 Adventure is an all-new motorcycle from KTM featuring an all-new platform. It also houses a brand new motor which is a 799cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled unit that is capable of churning out 95bhp. On the tech-front, the motorcycle comes packed with a long list of features which include multiple riding modes, cornering ABS and KTM’s Motorcycle Traction Control (MTC) which is a lean angle sensitive traction control system.
With the 790 Duke due for launch in India soon, we expect KTM will bring the 790 Adventure to our shores too. On the competition-front, the middle-weight 790 Adventure will compete against the Honda Africa Twin, Triumph Tiger 800 XCx and the BMW F750 GS.
