KTM 790 Adventure showcased in India

KTM is on a roll. The company has just showcased the highly anticipated 790 Adventure in India. 

The 790 Adventure made its world debut last year and the reason it made its India debut today is to gauge everyone’s response. With the launch of the 790 Duke, KTM India plans to extend the big bike line-up, and the showcasing of the 790 Adventure is a part of that strategy. We believe the 790 Adventure will be officially launched in India sometime next year.  

This ADV is built around a new platform, gets a brand new 790cc parallel twin engine that churns around 79bhp. The 790 Adventure is known for its minimalistic rally design – something that KTM does really well. The bike is loaded with electronics. It gets multiple riding modes, switchable ABS, Motorcycle Traction Control (MTC) with lean angle system.  

When the 790 Adventure is officially launched in India, it is likely to be the most affordable one in the segment. There’s the upcoming new Triumph Tiger 900 and the BMW F850GS is quite expensive for its segment. Just like the 790 Duke which redefined the segment, the 790 Adventure could do the same.
