- KTM restarts dealerships in select cities
- Shared a list of operational stores on its social media channels
The production and retail department of several two-wheeler manufacturers have started to spring back to life following the relaxations granted by the government amidst the ongoing lockdown. We have already reported about all the brands which have reopened their showrooms. Now, joining the list is KTM which also shares its dealership space with Husqvarna.
On its social media channels, KTM has shared a comprehensive list of all the dealerships which are now open, located in various cities across India. This comes in after Bajaj’s Chakan facility resuming operations where KTM and Husqvarna motorcycles are manufactured. The reopened stores are essentially those lying in orange and green zones where the government has allowed certain businesses to carry out activities.
The dealerships will be following all the health and safety protocol issued by the government. This includes thermal screening of the visiting customers and employees and practicing social distancing. The stores are also being thoroughly sanitised. While some of the KTM dealers have started sales and service both, a few of them have begun only either of the two.
In the last month, the bike makers were unable to sell even a single unit due to the strict nationwide lockdown which had mandated shutting shops and halting production. Now, with things getting back on track, KTM and other brands will gradually start fetching sales and the financial condition will also improve.
