KTM will be focussing on increasing its footprint across the country in 2017-18. While the network already consists of 325 showrooms, the Austrian manufacturer is planning to add 175 more showrooms over the next 13 months.
While the concept of Bajaj Probiking showrooms existed before KTM entered India, these showrooms now exclusively cater to KTM and Kawasaki customers. Since its launch in 2012, KTM has sold over one lakh motorcycles, and Probiking’s widespread network played a major role in helping the company reach the milestone. In the current financial year, the company has projected selling a little over 46,000 motorcycles. For the next financial year, KTM will continue to add more showrooms to further boost its reach across the country and its sales numbers.
With the launch of the new KTM 250 Duke, the company also caters to a wider audience. The 250 Duke plugs the gap between the 200 Duke and the 390 Duke, going up against the likes of the Benelli TNT 25 and the Mahindra Mojo.
