KTM Orange day thrills Mumbaikars on October 27

         

KTM Orange Day, held for the third time, saw Mumbaikars, KTM motorcycle owners and other motor racing enthusiasts gather in large numbers on October 27 at the parking lot of Inorbit Mall, Malad.

KTM owners put their motorcycles to the test on the course made especially for the event. There was a separate category of Duke 200 and Duke 390 owners for the race. The competition was within the categories itself. They were able to examine the motorcycle for its performance and get a feel of it in the safe and controlled environment.

In order to encourage non-KTM riders as well, this year, owners of Yamaha R15, who had pre-registered their names for the performance session, were also allowed to race on the track.

In the display section, stealing all the credit was superbike 1190 RC8 R and the off-roader 350 SX-f. A souped up KTM Duke 390 was also displayed at the Power Parts and Power Wear stall.

The event became a great meeting ground for KTM bike owners to interact with each other. The winners from every category of the race were awarded with a trophy and other goodies. People from across the country including  Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Noida, Chennai, Vadodara, Jaipur, Kochi and Delhi have witnessed this event in their respective cities.
