KTM RC200 ABS launched at Rs 1.88 lakhs

- RC200 now gets single-channel ABS

KTM India has introduced the RC200 ABS version. This bike has been priced at Rs 1.88 lakhs (ex-showroom Bengaluru), making it Rs 9000 more expensive than the non-ABS variant. 

Just like in the 200 Duke ABS, the Austrian maker has equipped the RC200 with a single-channel ABS unit which has been sourced from Bosch. The bookings for the ABS RC200 has already begun at multiple showrooms. However, deliveries are expected to begin next month. The non-ABS RC200 will continue to be sold till stock lasts. 

The KTM RC200 ABS gets its power from a 199cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, which delivers 25bhp and 19.2Nm of torque through a six-speed transmission. This KTM doesn’t get slipper clutch, but expect it in the next generation model. 

The KTM RC200 ABS goes against the Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 ABS and the Honda CBR250R.
