- KTM RC200 offered in three colours
- Priced at Rs 2.14 lakh
- Competes against Yamaha R15 V4
In the light of MotoGP entering India next year, KTM has launched the RC200 in a new livery. And now, the fully-faired Yamaha R15 V4 competitor is available in a choice of three colour options.
Let’s begin with the new paint scheme itself. The livery is inspired by KTM’s RC16 MotoGP bike. Interestingly though, it is based on the brand’s satellite team- Tech 3 KTM rather than its factory Red Bull Racing machine.
Nonetheless, the KTM RC200 adorns a fully orange paint scheme that has been contrasted well with black on the wheels, sub-frame and windscreen. The livery also sports a bold KTM and ‘Ready To Race’ branding on the side panels just like the RC16. Other than this, KTM is offering the RC200 in a silver and orange combination and a black and orange mix. Both options come with orange wheels but are still subtler when compared to the MotoGP paint scheme.
Now, the KTM RC200 received its update last year with an entire makeover to its frame, design and feature list too. Even its 199cc, single-cylinder engine got a few revisions for better acceleration. We have tested the motorcycle out and also pitted it against the Yamaha R15 V4. To read more, head to the expert reviews section of BikeWale.
