- RC200 now available in black
- Will be sold alongside white paint scheme
- Continues to retail at Rs 1.77 lakhs
KTM has launched the RC200 in a new paint scheme. This livery gets KTM’s traditional colours – orange, black and white.
KTM had updated the RC200 in 2017 with a new white/orange paint scheme, while the new RC390 got an orange, black and white livery. This livery has now been carried over to the RC200. Now, the only differentiating factors between the two bikes are the exhaust pipe and the badges. The RC200 also rides on lower-spec MRF tyres as opposed to the Metzlers on the RC390.
The RC200 is powered by a 199cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, which delivers 25bhp and 19.2Nm of torque through a six-speed transmission. There hasn’t been any change in the price tag, and the RC200 continues to retail at Rs 1.77 lakhs (ex-showroom). It competes against the Bajaj Pulsar RS200, Yamaha Fazer 25 and the Honda CBR250R.
