KTM will launch the 2017 RC390 and the RC200 in India on January 19.
The 2017 KTM RC390 gets a new livery which combines black, white and orange shades to accentuate the bike’s sporty lines. It is also equipped with a slipper clutch, ride-by-wire throttle and a larger 320mm front disc brake. It also gets a side-mounted exhaust instead of the underbelly unit.
The KTM RC200 on the other hand only gets cosmetic updates. The black paint scheme has been replaced with a new orange and white livery. The white paint on the fairing contrasts with the black fuel tank, while the frame, wheels and logos are painted in the company’s traditional orange.
These new updates should help extend the RC200 and RC390’s life until the next-generation bike is introduced by the end of 2017. While both the bikes will have a price hike, the one for the RC390 might be significant owing to the technological updates.
