KTM is going to launch the 2017 RC390 and the RC200 in India tomorrow. While the new RC200 features an updated paint schemes, the RC390 also gets a few technological upgrades.
KTM has given the 2017 RC390 a new look, courtesy a black, white and orange livery. Under the skin, the RC390 is powered by the same 373cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, though it now gets ride-by-wire throttle. Braking hardware has been upgraded with the inclusion of a larger 320mm front disc brake, while the six-speed gearbox is now mated to a slipper clutch. The RC390 also gets a side-mounted exhaust in place of the underbelly unit to make it BS IV emission norms compliant. The KTM RC200 on the other hand gets a new orange and white livery to accentuate its sporty lines.
We expect both the new RC390 and the RC200 to get a price hike. The 2017 RC range will be followed by the launch of the 2017 Duke range in the next couple of months.
