- Base-model 890 Duke reveal today
- Will get lower-spec suspension, tyres
- Likely to be launched in India
KTM will pull the wraps of one of its new bikes today. The company will unveil the base model of the 890 Duke.
This motorcycle is likely to get the similar design language but could get less fancier paint scheme and stickers. This bike will also get lower spec brakes, suspension, tyres and electronics. In fact, this bike is likely to replace the 790 Duke in some markets like US and Europe.
In terms of power output, this base KTM 890 Duke will churn out little less power than its R sibling, but it still will be exciting and fun on roads as well as race tracks. The six-speed gearbox could be borrowed from the 890 Duke R but could miss the quickshifter.
We are quite excited to see this bike today as we believe it will also be launched in India sometime later this year.
