KTM to unveil fully-faired RC 125, RC 200, RC 390 motorcycles this year

KTM will be unveiling their new range of fully-faired motorcycles at the EICMA Milan show this November. The company is currently developing the RC 125, RC 200 and the RC 390 fully-faired motorcycles that will be based on the current Duke platform. All the fully-faired motorcycles will be powered by the single cylinder engines and are designed by Gerald Kiska design firm.

The Austrian maker is planning to launch the KTM RC390 at the first half of 2014 followed by RC 125 and RC 200 around next April. We expect the Austrian manufacturer to launch the KTM RC 390 and the RC 200 in India after few months of its global launch. The KTM RC 125 won’t be available in India as it is mainly targeted towards developed markets. All the KTM fully-faired motorcycles will be manufactured in Bajaj’s Chakan factory and will be exported globally.  

"We started out with the Duke naked bikes, but KTM is developing another family of motorcycles based on the same platform that will be full fairing sport motorcycles with clip-on handlebars. The RC 125,200 and 390 that will be launched at the EICMA Milan show in November will look a little similar to our World Champion Moto3 Grand Prix racer, which gives a good marketing linkage to that." said Stefan Pierer, president & CEO, KTM.
