KTM has unveiled the 1190 RC8 Superbike yesterday at the New Delhi Orange day. The 1190 RC8 will be displayed at selected KTM showrooms across the country as a part of company’s brand building exercise and won’t be on sale anytime soon.
The 1190 RC8 is powered by 1195cc liquid-cooled V twin engine that produces 173bhp of power and 120Nm of torque. This machine has a dry weight of 184 giving it a power to weight ratio of 940bhp per tonne.
The Austrian maker is planning to launch a fully-faired 250cc motorcycle for Indian market which we believe will be taking design cues from the 1190 RC8 superbike.
