A new Enduro motorcycle based on KTM’s new parallel twin platform has been spotted testing in Europe.
Still in its early prototype stage, the styling of the Enduro is completely different from the new Duke range.The raised suspension, narrow profile and the upright seating should boost its off-road capabilities. It rides on a 19 inch front and 17 inch rear wheel, with 43 mm inverted forks and a rear monoshock supplied by WP suspension. The Brembo brake setup consists of dual discs up front and a single rear disc. We can expect it to be powered by the 800 cc engine first seen in the Duke 790 prototype. Competing against the likes of BMW F800GS and the Triumph Tiger 800, this bike will be a part of KTM’s 2018 range. Apart from this Enduro, we can expect to see a sports tourer and a streetfighter based on the parallel twin platform.
