- Bookings closed temporarily
- Next round of bookings to commence soon
Revolt Motors has closed the latest rounds of bookings within an hour of commencing the process at 12 noon on 15 July, 2021. The electric two-wheeler maker said in a press statement that it is witnessing a robust demand due to rising petrol prices. The company claims that its electric bikes provide running cost as low as Rs 9 per 100km as against Rs 250 per 100km for petrol bikes.
Revolt’s current product portfolio comprises two models – RV300 and RV400. The two electric motorcycles feature similar styling, although the RV400 comes with higher power output and a bigger battery. The RV400 uses a 3KW (mid drive) motor that is powered by a 3.24KWh lithium-ion battery. The top speed of the RV400 is rated at 85kmph. The Revolt RV300, on the other hand, uses a 1.5KW (hub motor) that is powered by a 2.7 kWh lithium-ion battery. The RV300 is claimed to deliver a range of 180km.
The company confirmed via its social media handles that it will soon re-open the booking process, although it has not revealed the timeline.
