- Now available in three different trims
- Reservations start today
- Deliveries to commence in July
After launching the S1 Air last year in August, Ola Electric has tweaked the scooter and now re-launched it in three new trims. The asking price starts from Rs 84,999 for the base S1 Air and goes to Rs 99,999 for the mid-trim and Rs 1,09,999 (all ex-showroom Bengaluru) for the top-of-the-line model. Here’s what we know about it.
The most affordable S1 Air is powered by a 2kWh battery while the remaining two get a 3kWh and 4kWh unit. All three variants use the same 2.7kW motor mated to the aforementioned batteries. So, the claimed top speed of 85kmph remains constant throughout the S1 Air models, but the range varies. You get 85km (ARAI) of range with the smallest battery pack and the 3kWh option claims to offer 125km and the 4kWh model gets 165km range.
That said, all three S1 Air scooters also get the same set of features. The 7-inch TFT screen with smartphone connectivity, GPS, music playback, three ride modes (eco, normal, and sport), reverse mode, remote boot lock/unlock, and side stand alert remains unaltered. Even the conventional telescopic front forks and rear shocks are the same for all three models.
Ola has opened the reservation window for the S1 Air today on its official website. Deliveries for the same are slated for July of this year. Moreover, customers who booked the first S1 Air last year (2.5kWh battery unit) will receive a free upgrade to the new 3kWh model.
