We have been keeping you up to date with Honda’s ludicrous 750cc adventure scooter for quite some time now. Honda recently teased everyone with a video which didn’t reveal much. However, now there are revealing leaked patent images of this upcoming scooter.
There is no news regarding the launch of this scooter. But, Honda has said the launch is imminent and that it will provide more information on this adventure scooter on August 30.
The images reveal the exhaust being smaller and more compact in terms of design. It also gets larger handguards which are in line with the philosophy of the motorcycle. The screen also looks to be restyled from the last set of leaked images. The scooter also features higher spec components like radial brake calipers.
Powering this scooter will be the engine from the NC750 – 750cc parallel twin 54bhp engine mated to a DCT semi-auto gearbox. So in terms of performance, this scooter is very adequately equipped. According to a source, the weight is expected to be around the 220kg mark. While the concept name was the City Adventure, Honda has filed patents for two names – ‘ADV’ and ‘X-ADV’. It is unsure which name Honda will use or if there are two variants of the same. What we do know is that, this will be one of the most capable scooters in the market.
