- Will feature a sharp styling
- To be powered by a 210cc, liquid-cooled engine
- Official design patent leaked
The official design patent images of the upcoming Hero Karizma XMR 210 have been leaked online. We came across it on the web and have noticed quite a few interesting bits about the new Karizma XMR 210.
The newly leaked pictures show Karizma’s aggressive design with a chiselled front end and sharp side panels. Notably, the fuel tank looks large but it too seems to get cuts and creases followed by a two-piece seat. There’s a set of grabrails as well at the rear. The bike has been spotted testing quite a few times and one of its previously leaked images also came from a dealer-exclusive event.
Hero will equip the Karizma XMR 210 with a 210cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that will dish out 25bhp and 30Nm. It’ll be linked to a six-speed gearbox. Moreover, the setup will be housed in a trellis frame, suspended on telescopic front forks and a monoshock. We also saw that although the Karizma XMR 210 will get clip-ons, these will be positioned slightly high and offer more of a sports-tourer sort of riding posture than an outright supersports motorcycle. Its braking hardware will include a single disc at both ends, likely mounted on 17-inch alloys.
We also expect Hero to offer LED illumination, a fully digital console, as well as smartphone connectivity on the upcoming Karizma XMR 210. This would enhance the user experience.
The official debut of the Hero Karizma XMR 210 could take place sometime next month and it could be priced around Rs. 2 lakh. Once launched, it’ll rival the Yamaha YZF R15 and the KTM RC 200.
