- Styling will be similar to the 155cc Intruder
- Will feature a subtle design for the exhaust canister
- Will get Suzuki Oil Cooling System
The upcoming Suzuki Intruder 250 has been revealed through leaked patent images. The images reveal that the quarter-litre model will not carry many visual changes over the 155cc Intruder that Suzuki offers in the Indian market. The Indian arm of the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer uses a similar strategy for its Gixxer (155cc and 250cc) series.
While the design of the quarter-litre Intruder isn’t drastically different from the 155cc model, the upcoming cruiser will feature a different exhaust canister than the lower-displacement motorcycle.
The Intruder 250 will use the same engine as the quarter-litre Gixxer series. Thus, the cruiser will be powered by a 249cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine with Suzuki Oil Cooling System. The motor is tuned to produce 26.1bhp at 9,300rpm and 22.2Nm at 7,300rpm on the Gixxer 250 series, and we may see similar numbers on the Intruder 250.
The feature list on the Intruder 250 may include full-LED headlight, digital instrument cluster and dual-channel ABS. The launch details for the quarter-litre cruiser motorcycle are yet to be announced.
