- Showcased at a dealer event
- Gets completely revamped styling than before
- Will be powered by a 210cc single-cylinder motor
The upcoming Hero Karizma XMR 210‘s production-ready model was recently showcased to select dealers and its spy shots have now been leaked online. The new images reveal plenty of design details of the upcoming bike.
Hero MotoCorp has employed a completely new and sporty design for the Karizma XMR 210. It gets a thoroughly youthful look with the sharp front fascia, and aggressive fairing design, and even the tail section seems quite sleek. Moreover, looking at the previously seen test mules and the newly spotted production bike, it’s likely that the Karizma XMR would balance the sporty and practicality aspects. Its supersport styling is complemented by a tall and raised handlebar, making it a sports tourer of sorts.
The latter makes more sense as it’d offer more usability than a full-blown supersports motorcycle. Apart from that, we expect it to get LED illumination, and modern features like a fully digital console as well. It will house a 210cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with 25bhp and 30Nm of output. The motor will be linked to a six-speed gearbox. The bike seen here is equipped with telescopic front forks and a monoshock while the braking is done by a petal disc brake at the front and rear. It rides on alloy wheels wrapped in road-biased tyres.
We expect Hero to make an official announcement very soon. Moreover, Hero motorcycles are known to be affordable, so you can expect the upcoming Karizma XMR to sit between the Yamaha YZF R15 and the KTM RC 200’s price. That’s around Rs. 2 lakh (ex-showroom).
