- Will be limited to just 500 units
- Gets special livery
- India launch likely in late 2023
Italian luxury two-wheeler manufacturer, Ducati, has unveiled the Monster 30 Anniversario edition for the international market. This special edition model, which celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Monster brand, will be manufactured in a numbered series, limited to 500 units.
The new Ducati Monster 30 Anniversario retains the design of the standard model. However, this version benefits from the Tricolour 30th Anniversary livery that is inspired by the sportiest Monsters of the past. The styling is further enhanced through the use of gold-coloured rims that are specially made for this model, and the Ohlins NIX30 fork.
Other distinctive elements of this model are a seat embellished with an embroidered 30-year logo and the dedicated animation of the dashboard. Finally, each motorcycle gets a plate on the upper clamp with the model’s name and unit number, a certificate of authenticity, and a dedicated motorcycle cover.
This motorcycle also benefits from additional components over the standard Monster. These components allow it to carry a lighter kerb weight of 184kg, making it 4kg lighter than the standard model. Meanwhile, the 30 Anniversario retains the 937cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled Testastretta engine with desmodromic timing that delivers a maximum power output and peak torque of 109.9bhp at 9,250rpm and 93Nm at 6,500rpm, respectively. The main intervals include 15,000km for oil changes and 30,000km for valve clearance checks.
Other hardware on this motorcycle includes Ohlins-sourced fully adjustable suspension, an adjustable Ohlins steering damper, and Brembo-sourced callipers. Then, the standard electronics include power modes, three riding modes, cornering ABS, traction control, and wheelie control.
The India launch details of the Monster 30 Anniversario edition are not available yet. However, we expect to see a few units of this limited-edition motorcycle in our market.
