- Will be limited to just 800 units
- Gets unique paint job and special livery
- To be available in North America from the end of March 2021
Ducati has unveiled the limited-edition iteration of its off-road-spec Scrambler motorcycle, the Desert Sled. Christened as the Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled Fasthouse, the new model celebrates the collaboration between Ducati Scrambler and the American clothing brand Fasthouse. The model will be available in numbered series of 800 units and it will arrive across Ducati North America dealerships from the end of March 2021.
The limited-edition model is based on the standard Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled. It is distinguished from the standard model through its special livery that replicates the graphics on the Mint 400 bikes. The motorcycle uses black and grey as the base paint while the aesthetics are further enhanced through geometric design on the tank with Fasthouse and Ducati Scrambler logos. The frame gets a Ducati Red finish while an aluminium plate features the number of the bike within the limited series.
The changes are limited to the unique styling. The mechanical specifications, on the other hand, are similar to standard Scrambler Desert Sled. Thus, the limited-edition model continues to use the 803cc, twin-cylinder engine. The hardware on the motorcycle comprises the adjustable Kayaba suspension, off-road inspired foot pegs with removable rubber pads, and black spoked wheels (19-inch front/ 17-inch rear) shod in Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres.
Apart from the limited-edition model, the collaboration also brings a collection of apparel, created specifically for the Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled Fasthouse. It consists of a short-sleeved t-shirt, long-sleeved t-shirt, jacket, and cap. The merchandise will be available for purchase from the end of April on Fasthouse's sales channels, Ducati dealerships, and Ducati's website.
