- Is called the Street Glide Arctic Blast
- Only 500 units to be available
- Features a new colour scheme
Harley-Davidson’s Pan America 1250 and Sporter S have surely stolen the spotlight recently but the American manufacturer hasn’t forgotten its traditional models in the process. And to celebrate it, Harley-Davidson has revealed a limited-edition Street Glide Special for global markets.
Only 500 units of the motorcycle dubbed the Street Glide Special Arctic Blast will be made available. And each of the units will have its own unique serial number painted on the fuel tank. However, the special bit about the Street Glide Arctic Blast is the colour scheme that is far from the traditional skulls and flames Harley is known for.
Instead, it gets a combination of white and dark blue with a light blue stripe betwixt the two. All 500 units have been hand-painted by Gunslinger Custom Paint in Colorado, USA, and feature detailing like honeycomb patterns and metal flakes that complete the look.
Nevertheless, Harley-Davidson has left the rest of the Street Glide Special untouched and the bagger continues to come powered by the Milwaukee-Eight engine. While the motorcycle has made its way to dealerships in the USA, there is no word about it being launched in India anytime soon.
