- Gets top-spec hardware
- Available in two colours
- Will not be launched in India
Triumph Motorcycles has unveiled the 2023 Street Triple range for the international markets. The list comprises three models – R, RS, and the limited-edition Moto2 variant. While the former two will arrive in India, Triumph Motorcycles’ representatives have confirmed that the Moto2 variant will not be sold in our market.
This limited-edition variant of the middleweight roadster series sits on top of the range and packs highest-spec hardware. These include Brembo Stylema calipers, fully-adjustable Ohlins front forks and rear mono-shock, and Pirelli-sourced Diablo Supercorsa SP V3 tyres. The Moto2 version also gets a steeper rake, raised tail, and clip-on handlebars. The styling cues comprise official Moto2 branding, carbon-fibre bodywork, and individually numbered top yoke.
The mechanical specifications are similar to the RS variant, and the Moto2 edition, too, draws 128.2bhp at 12,000rpm and 80Nm of peak torque at 9,500rpm from its 765cc, inline three-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The electronic rider aids comprise five riding modes (Road, Rain, Sport, Track, and Rider), cornering ABS, lean-sensitive traction control, cruise control, wheelie control, lap timer, and a bidirectional quickshifter.
The Moto2 edition will be offered in two colours – Triumph Racing Yellow and Crystal White.
