A lot of two-wheeler manufacturers in India had to postpone some launches due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But now with the economy slowly opening up, almost all brands have opened up their showrooms and service centers in a lot of cities. But what’s pending from their end are launches of some interesting motorcycles. We believe some of these bikes are likely to be launched in India and we tell which ones.
Royal Enfield Meteor
The Meteor is supposedly the most awaited launch of the year. This bike from Royal Enfield is rumoured to be developed on a new platform, gets a new engine and is also likely to be equipped with interesting features. The Meteor is likely to replace the aging Thunderbird 350.
The Victor has always been one of the most value-for-money 110cc bikes in the country. But its BS6 variant hasn’t hit the market yet and we believe this will happen in June. The Victor is known for its no-non sense styling, smooth engine, great breaks and comfortable riding position. We are expecting TVS to launch new paint schemes with the BS6 variant.
TVS Zest
The Zest 110 is an entry-level scooter from TVS. It was developed keeping in mind the female consumers who want an accessible, easy to ride city scooter. The combination of light weight, good seat height and smooth engine makes it a great choice. The BS6 variant is likely to get some additional features.
The new Tiger 900 replaces the Tiger 800 in India and also worldwide. In its new iteration, the Tiger not only looks nicer but also gets an intimidating stance. This ADV comes with a bigger motor, better cycle parts and more features. Interestingly, the British brand has also gone for a new naming system for the Tiger variants.
