The brand’s flagship 650 twins have made their way to France

Royal Enfield has launched the made-in-India 2024 Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 in France. The 2024 model update brought about updates to the features and looks of both motorcycles.
To begin with, the Interceptor 650 is being offered in four colour schemes, two of which are new. These include the Black Ray and Barcelona Blue that come with blacked-out parts and components. On the other hand, the Continental GT 650 is available in two blacked-out versions (Slipstream Blue and Apex Grey) as well that will be sold alongside the existing paint options. Similar to the INT 650, the GT 650’s blacked-out variants also gets blacked-out parts.
Other than this, Royal Enfield has also taken the opportunity to add alloy wheels that are shod with tubeless tyres and comes only on the new blacked-out versions. Royal Enfield has also included enhanced seating comfort, new switchgear a USB charging port and all-new LED lighting to the mix on both 2024 models.
What hasn’t changed is the mechanical specification on the 2024 Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. Both come with a 648cc, parallel-twin motor that churns out 47bhp and 52Nm and is mated to a six-speed gearbox.
Now, the Interceptor 650 is priced from $7,890 USD (Rs 6.5 lakh). Meanwhile, the Continental GT 650 goes for about $8,200 USD (Rs 6.8 lakh) in France. This is nearly two times the prices of the motorcycles in India thanks to export costs.
