BMW Motorrad has introduced its entry-level naked roadster, the G 310 R in the Japanese market. The motorcycle has been launched at 6,37,000 yen (Rs 4.31 lakh) in the country. In comparison, the G 310 R retails for Rs 2.50 lakh in India. BMW Motorrad manufactures the G 310 R and the G 310 GS in India, and the two motorcycles are exported to various markets.
The specifications of the Japanese-spec G 310 R are similar to the Indian model. Thus, the motorcycle comes equipped with full-LED lighting, digital instrument cluster, and a muscular styling. The G 310 R is available in three colours in the Japanese market – Limestone Metallic/Style Sport, Cosmic Black, and Polar White.
The mechanical specifications on the motorcycle include a 312cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 33.5bhp of power at 9,250rpm and 28Nm of peak torque at 7,500rpm. The hardware comprises upside-down telescopic front forks, rear mono-shock, disc brakes on both wheels, and dual-channel ABS. All BMW Motorrad motorcycles come with a three-year warranty.
