- Available in two variants in Indonesia
- Will be available from July 2023
- Powered by a 225cc engine
TVS Motor Company has announced that it has launched the Made-in-India 225cc motorcycle, the Ronin in the Indonesian market. Unlike India, the Indonesian market will get two variants of this motorcycle – SS and TD.
The SS version is the lower-spec model of the Ronin range, and it features single-tone paint and single-channel ABS. Meanwhile, the range-topping TD version gets triple-tone paint and dual-channel ABS. It will be available in select TVS Motor outlets across the country starting July 2023.
The mechanical specifications on both variants include a 225cc single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled motor that makes a maximum output of 20.1bhp at 7,750rpm and a peak torque of 19.93Nm at 3,750rpm. This engine is linked to a five-speed gearbox. The hardware on both variants includes upside-down front forks and a seven-step, preload-adjustable mono-shock to handle the suspension duties. The braking tasks are handled by a 300mm disc at the front and a 240mm rotor at the back.
The feature list on the top-spec model comprises two modes for ABS (Rain and Urban), Glide Through Technology (GTT), and Bluetooth connectivity with voice and ride assistance.
