- Marc Marques clinches 2018 MotoGP World Championship
- Ducati’s Andrea Dovizioso crashed out at the last moment

Marc Marquez has won the 2018 MotoGP Championship after he finished 1st at the Japanese Grand Prix. With this win, the young champion has five GP championships under his belt.
Ducati rider Andrea Dovizioso started the race in the pole position and stayed there till the last two laps of the race. He lost the front of his bike coming on to the back straight, losing his chance to win the Japanese Grand Prix. Marc Marquez started six on the grid but soon enough found ways to get through other riders.
Cal Crutchlow finished second after Dovizioso crashed out. The third spot was taken by Alex Rins from Suzuki who was closely followed by MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi from Yamaha.
