Hero MotoCorp has reported marginal increase in their total sales for May this year. The company sold 5, 57,890 units as compared to 5, 56,644 units in the corresponding period last year.
Hero MotoCorp recently started exporting its two-wheelers to Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras. The company has partnered with Indy Motos Group from Guatemala to sell the Hunk, Glamour, Karizma, HF Dawn, Splendor NXG, Super Splendor and the Achiever in Central America. Exports are expected to play an important role in company’s future growth.
"The demand momentum that we had seen on our product range in April continued in May as well, helping us achieve over 1.1 million retail sales in the two-month period. This retail off-take has been helped by our star brands, our new product range as also the recently-introduced five-year warranty on our entire portfolio," said Anil Dua, senior vice president (marketing and sales).
