Ahmedabad-based electric motorcycle manufacturer, Matter, has announced its partnership with the e-commerce website, Flipkart, to offer its product, Aera. This collaboration allows interested buyers to pre-book and purchase Matter Aera electric motorcycles. Further, buyers can also avail the benefit of special offers on the e-commerce website.
Apart from Flipkart, Matter has also collaborated with digital commerce and financing platform, OTO to provide financing options for its newly launched products. Matter has announced four variants of the electric motorcycle – Aera 4000, Aera 5000, Aera 5000+, and Aera 6000+. However, the company has only released the details and prices for the Aera 5000 range. These include the Aera 5000 and Aera 5000+ which are available at Rs. 1,43,999 and Rs. 1,53,999, respectively (both ex-showroom, PAN India, including FAME II).
As reported earlier, the Aera 500 range uses a 10kW electric motor that works along with a 5kWh battery pack. Notably, this battery uses a liquid-cooling mechanism, and boasts a claimed range of 125km. Further, the company claims a charging time of five hours using a standard charger. Meanwhile, the fast charger is claimed to recharge the battery pack in two hours. The feature list on this electric motorcycle comprises an LED headlight, a TFT console smartphone connectivity, and ride modes.
