Michelin has marked its foray into the scooter tyre market with the launch of City Pro tyres. Available in 10-inch and 17-inch sizes, the City Pro tyre range also caters to motorcycles upto 150cc.
For scooters, the City Pro tyres are available in 90/100 profile, which make them compatible for Hero Pleasure, Maestro, Honda Activa, Aviator, Dio, Suzuki Swish, Access, Let’s, Vespa VX, LX, S and the VX Elegante. These tyres have a maximum payload capacity of 206 kilograms and are suitable for speeds up to 100kmph. For motorcycles, the City Pro is available in 2.75-17 (front) and 3.0-17 (rear) profile and is suitable for a host of commuter motorcycles. It can handle speeds of up to 150kmph. These tyres have been specifically designed to survive intense urban usage.
