Michelin launches Scorcher tyre range for Harley-Davidson

Michelin has launched the Scorcher range of tyres in the Indian market. Developed exclusively for Harley-Davidson bikes, this range is also fitted as original equipment on the Sportster, Dyna, V-Rod and the Street line-up. 

Michelin and Harley-Davidson entered into a partnership in 2008 and have a global agreement allowing these tyres to be sold through authorized Harley-Davidson dealers. Co-branded as Harley-Davidson, the Michelin Scorcher 11 and the Scorcher 31 are available in six different sizes. 

The Scorcher 31 has been designed for the Harley-Davidson Touring range, with grip, resistance to wear, maneuverability and usability in rains as key attributes. The Scorcher 11 on the other hand is suitable for Sportster SuperLow, XR 1200, V-Rod Muscle and Night Rod Special models. Its semi-slick tread maximises the contact patch with the ground making it ideal for high-performance bikes. 

The Michelin Scorcher range is available across the country at all Michelin-authorised dealers as well as Harley-Davidson dealerships.
