Monster Energy sponsors Yamaha factory MotoGP racing team

Monster Energy company will now be sponsoring Yamaha factory racing team for 2013 and 2014 MotoGP races. We will now see the Monster Energy branding on Yamaha YZR-M1’s, racing suits of Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo and also on Team’s suit and racing equipment.

Monster Energy is already a major partner to Yamaha’s top global sports activities in many domestic and international racing activities around the world in Motocross, Supercross, Endurance and Superbike disciplines. They have also been the title sponsor of the Monster Energy Tech 3 Yamaha team for the past 4 years. The expansion to include the Yamaha Factory Racing MotoGP Team is a logical and prestigious expansion of the program.”  said Lin Jarvis, managing director, Yamaha Motor Racing.

Monster Energy company is already present in MotoGP with the satellite Tech3 team but this is the first time they are backing up a factory team. Valentino Rossi also has a personal engagement with the energy drink brand which will now incorporated with team agreement.
