- Indian Scout Bobber Sixty in the works
- Will get a 1000cc, V-Twin engine with 76.5bhp
- Likely to be unveiled in the coming months
Indian Motorcycles is working on a more affordable Scout Bobber called the Scout Bobber Sixty; leaked documents have revealed.
While there is no confirmation about the Scout Bobber Sixty’s visual changes, it is likely to sport different wheels and low-spec parts to keep costs in check. Nevertheless, it will come powered by a 1000cc, V-Twin in place of the standard model’s 1133cc engine. This motor produces 76.5bhp of power at 7300rpm and 88Nm of torque at 5000rpm and comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. The power output has obviously reduced but so has the weight of the motorcycle. The Indian Scout Bobber Sixty will weigh 250kg with a full 12.5-litre tank. Nevertheless, the motorcycle has the same wheelbase, length and height as the bigger Scout Bobber.
Indian Motorcycles is likely to launch the new Scout Bobber Sixty sometime in the coming months. We can expect it to be introduced in India priced around Rs 10.5 lakhs to Rs 11.5 lakhs (ex-showroom).
