- Ola S1 Air offered in five paint options
- Priced at Rs 79,999
- Gets smaller motor and 90kmph top-speed
Ola recently launched its most affordable model called the S1 Air. The third model in the range is priced at an introductory Rs 79,999 (ex-showroom including FAME II subsidy)
Now, the brand is offering the S1 Air in a choice of five colour options. You can pick the scooter in blue, white or red if you want a dash of colour. Or else, there is black and grey as well for a subtler look which goes well with the new bodywork that includes blacked-out lower panels. It also sets the Air apart from the S1 and S1 Pro. That said, Ola has also changed the wheel design and equipped the scooter with a conventional-looking grab rail.
The motor too is relatively smaller at 4.5kW and is mounted on the hub rather than the mid-mounted units on the premium models. Even the battery is scaled down to 2.5kWh which offers a claimed range of 101km and a claimed top-speed of 90kmph. Moreover, the braking hardware has moved from disc brakes to drum units as standard. But that said, the Ola S1 Air continues to get a comprehensive list of features that include three riding modes, a seven-inch touchscreen display and speakers as well.
