In the world of the internet, the first few search results are the most important ones. These results on Google get nearly 70 per cent of the overall clicks. So that’s why most of the Indian two-wheeler manufacturers spend a lot of money to get on that list. Luckily, we can tell you where each of these manufacturers stand on BikeWale.
Rank 5: Yamaha
Yamaha doesn’t have a lot of strong products like its competitors. Only the bikes like the FZ series and the YZF-R15 gets majority of the search interest for the brand. Scooters like the Ray and the Fascino contributes very little internet searches to this Japanese brand.
Rank 4: Royal Enfield
None of Royal Enfield bikes are priced below Rs 1 lakh but still the company makes it to the most researched brands list all the time. The major contribution is from the Classic 350, which gets close to 50 per cent of the overall research. Other products like the Thunderbird 350 and the Bullet 350 too bring in decent amount of research to this brand.
Rank 3: Hero
The largest two-wheeler manufacturer in the world – Hero MotoCorp is the thirst-most-researched brand on BikeWale in December. It managed this rank because of its lack of youth-oriented products. This audience is the most tech-savvy and Hero’s portfolio lacks products built around and for them, resulting in less internet searches.
Rank 2: Bajaj
Brands like the Pulsar and now the Dominar have helped Bajaj stay in the top three standings. These brands have been developed for the youth due to which there’s constant searches in the web world. In fact, the Dominar 400 is the most popular motorcycle on BikeWale in December.
Rank 1: Honda
Honda has a well balanced product portfolio. From the Activas to the CB Hornet, most of the products cover a wid demography. Due to this, Honda takes the top spot here.
