Like every month, this month too we bring you a list of the most researched motorcycles in August. Interestingly, in August, we’ve a new entry and it’s a surprising one.
Rank 1: Royal Enfield Classic 350
This motorcycle has been topping the charts for a very long time. Being a Royal Enfield product, the Classic 350 has a really good brand value and its retro design attracts a lot of buyers from India. In terms of visits, the Classic 350 saw a 12 per cent increase over last month with close to 2.5 lakh visits. Close to 47 per cent who visited the site showed interest in buying this retro motorcycle. And just like every month, buyers from Delhi and Bengaluru showed the maximum interest on this Royal Enfield.
Rank 2: Honda CB Hornet 160R
The CB Hornet 160R takes the second place. This bike has been performing well in the Indian market, thanks to its aggressive design and styling and the refined 160cc engine. However, when it comes to research traffic on BikeWale, the CB Hornet 160R saw a massive 15 per cent decrease. Mumbai continues to show the maximum interest in this bike, followed by Bengaluru and Chennai.
Rank 3: Bajaj Pulsar 150
Yes! This has been a big surprise for us. Previously, this spot was taken by the Avenger 150 and the V15 was also doing pretty well. However, for the month of August, the Pulsar 150 takes the spot. This could’ve been because of the discount fest which the Pune-based manufacturer has begun for the festive season. With close to 1.2 lakh visits, around 45 per cent of the visitors are interested in buying this Bajaj. Bengaluru topped the research chart, followed by Chennai and Delhi. Mumbai and Pune took the last two spots.
